Iseki tractor range available in May
Iseki isn’t a name British farmers will be particularly familiar with, but the Japanese firm is upping its horsepower offering in the UK with its latest range of tractors.
The TJA 8080 and 8100 are 80hp and 100hp respectively. The 80hp version gets a 18Fx18R transmission – six mechanical speeds split into three ranges – while its 100hp sibling has 36 speeds in each direction thanks to a hare/tortoise splitter. Iseki has also kitted it out with a clutchless, electro-hydraulic shuttle.
Power is provided by a Stage 3b, three-cylinder Sisu block (thanks to Iseki’s tie-up with Agco in Japan). Two spools are standard, but an extra two can be specified.
Also on the options list is a Zuidberg front linkage and a mid-mounted spool block should you fancy tacking on a front loader. An integrated loader joystick will be standard on the 100hp machine but optional on the 80hp version. The standard kit also includes air-con and draft control.
Full production models should be available in May, says Ipswich-based importer Ransomes Jacobsen, with prices to be announced soon.
