New Holland’s giant combine ‘biggest on market’
New Holland has launched what it claims is the biggest combine on the market.
Called the NH1090, it has a 16-litre, 652hp FPT engine and twin-pitch rotors that are claimed to give 15% more capacity.
Grain tank size is 14,500 litres (about 11t), up from 12,500 litres (about 9.3t) on the CR9090. Unloading speed is 142 litres/sec and the whole tank is emptied in a swift 1min 40sec.

Vari-feed headers go up to 12.5m (41ft) and there is an option of a 13.7m (45ft) Draper header.
Rubber tracks with Terraglide suspension allow 40kph top speeds and a new Harvest Suite Ultra cab is fitted too.
