Lamma 2024: He-Va unveils versatile Grass-Combi
Packing a set of levelling boards, spring tines and a seeder unit, He-Va’s Grass-Combi is designed to tackle everything from grassland rejuvenation to cover crop establishment.
The role of the sprung front paddles is to level molehills and other high spots, as well as carrying soil with them to fill in any dips and hollows.
In cereal situations they have the added benefit of levelling out straw residues. If these aren’t to the customer’s liking, they can be swapped for a set of rigid tines.

Behind these sit three rows of hydraulically adjustable 12mm spring tines, which rip out dead material, open the sward or stubble, and create a small amount of tilth for seeds to establish.
Working height is altered by raising or lowering the four rear jack-mounted wheels, and there are both Cat 2 linkage attachments and a clevis hitch for carrying or towing other implements, such as a roller.
Seeding is done by a 400-litre Stocks Turbo-Jet 8 applicator with spreader plates positioned between the levelling paddles and spring tines.
The 6m folding machine is priced at £21,678.
