Kverneland reveals new four-rotor rakes for 2017

Kverneland has revealed two new four-rotor rakes for the 2017 season.

Offering maximum working widths of up to 15m, the 97150C and 95130C join the 94125C introduced earlier this year.

At the top of the range is the 97150C, which comes equipped with maintenance-free rotor gearboxes and, thanks to some clever geometry, can give continuous adjustment of its working width from 9.8-15m.

When fully raised for transport, width is under 3m and overall height is slightly under 4m without having to remove tine arms.

Isobus technology means operators can alter the working sequence of lifting and lowering the front rotors to simplify headland management.

In addition, rotors can be lifted separately or each side’s rotor can be lifted in pairs.

The smaller 95130C has a 13m maximum working width, and headland management functions, including time delay for lift and lower of the rear rotors, are within its dedicated controls.
