Teagle ups the output of latest C120 tub grinder
The addition of a wider, longer and stronger twin-ram conveyor has allowed Teagle to increase the throughput of its latest Tomahawk tub grinder by more than 30%.
The C120 Calibrator is reckoned to be good for up to 15t/hour and comes with a new round tub with folding sides to simplify loading, while keeping it within width limits for road transport.

Although its primary calling will be firing out cattle bedding or feeding silage on dairy farms, tweaks to the design mean it’s now also capable of processing damper materials such as crimped grain, extending its appeal to biogas plants.
Chop length ranges from 100mm to ultra-fine 5mm straw powder, depending on the choice of quick-change screens.
And it comes with automatic control of the tub rotation, which should minimise the risk of blockages, and wireless Bluetooth controls that allow operators to manage operation from the loader cab.
Other standard features include tungsten carbide hammers and automated lubrication of the main driveline bearings and the tub drive chain.
Typical on-farm price is about £75,000.
