The company, which has been in the agricultural manufacturing business for some 48 years, cited investment in a brand-new 22,000sq m factory in Landivisiau, France along with the purchase of Gilibert Industries in 2015 as the main reasons for the financial difficulties.

For now, Pichon’s aim is to keep the factory running as smoothly as possible, while the administrator helps it in its search for a buyer over the course of the next six months.
