Fendt has revealed updates to its range of Cargo Profi front-end loaders designed for use on the firm’s small-but-powerful 500 (125-165hp) and 700 (145-250hp) series tractors.
The new models get an integrated weighing system to measure bucket loads individually and can also be set to record a running total. Each load is added to the total once the bucket has been crowded to its back-most position.
The Cargo Profi also has a system similar to John Deere’s RTP (return to position) loader that, in Fendt’s case, allows operators to memorise two bucket heights and tweak them on the tractor screen. This should be handy for repetitive operations like mucking out or moving grain and there’s also a lift height limiter for working under low shed roofs.
Other features include a shake function to get damp material out of bucket corners and several auto damping options.
There are three models – the 4X80 (to fit the 500 Vario), and the 5X85 and 5X90 (to fit the 700 Vario) – with varying lift capacities and prices start at around ÂŁ12,000 for the smallest.
Fendt has also overhauled its X and P-series combines and its six-model Hesston square baler range, but these are only available in the UK in Massey Ferguson colours.
