Esab welding respirator filters out harmful fumes
A new professional respirator designed to keep farmers and fabricators safe when spending endless hours in farm workshops has been launched by Esab.
The welding and cutting specialist says its new product is designed for use when welding and grinding and features a P3 filter and pre-filter to remove particulates before they get to the operator.

There is also the option to adjust the airflow between 170l/min and 220l/min to suit different environments, while visual and audible alarms alert the user to blocked filters or low batteries, which typically offer eight hours’ runtime.
The powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) filter weighs around 1kg and is carried on the back of a belt worn by the user. It is designed to connect to the firm’s range of air helmets. Online prices for the respirator start at around £400.
