Horsch expands Terrano cultivator line-up to fit CTF systems
Horsch has added to its range of cultivators designed to suit controlled-traffic farming systems with a brace of new Terrano FM models.
The tine-based trailed cultivator features the same four-bar design, 28cm TerraGrip tine spacing and 570kg release force as the smaller 5-7m Terrano FM models.
Horsch claims the high clearance prevents clogging even in large quantities of harvest residue and second-germination trash.

New 10m and 12m Terrano models feature the same transport system as the larger Joker 10 and 12 RT, allowing them to be folded within 3m for transport.
Although a wide range of widths can be used in CTF, Horsch says 9m, 10m and 12m systems are proving the most popular, with combines, cultivators, drills and sprayers all working on common track width and spacing.
The new Terrano joins Horsch’s existing range of 10m and 12m machines, which includes the Joker disc cultivator, Sprinter tine drill and 12m Pronto disc drill.
Terrano FM 10m starts at £95,920 while 12m is £102,740.
