Lemken revamps Karat 10 cultivator with models up to 7m
Lemken’s new Karat 10 cultivators are now available to order in a range of widths from 3m to 7m and in mounted and trailed formats.
The updated layout sees the legs arranged symmetrically across three rows, which is reckoned to reduce the risk of it being dragged off-course – particularly when the tractor is controlled by a guidance system.

There are also plenty of customisation options, including a set of leading leaf-sprung discs on semi-mounted models to chop soil clods and incorporate organic matter, and levelling and mulching discs behind the legs that are best employed on heavy ground.
Further tailoring of the machine is possible with Lemken’s full range of packers and rollers, and the availability of a following harrow to tidy up behind.
The legs can be fitted with wider quick-change wing shares or duck-foot Delta Cut versions for working just below the soil surface.
Deep lifting and loosening, down to a maximum of 300mm, can be done with the firm’s 60mm or 80mm narrow points, and all can be specced with a hard-wearing carbide finish.
Protection is provided either by shear-bolts or a coil-sprung auto-reset system.
Lemken had initially offered the Karat 10s in 3m, 3.5m and 4m working widths, but has now widened the range to 7m. Required tractor power ranges from 105hp to 490hp.
