Lamma 2025: NRH returns with new low-disturbance subsoiler
Yorkshire outfit NRH Engineering, maker of presses, packers, Cambridge rolls and piggyback drill cultivators, returned to Lamma with a new low-disturbance subsoiler.
The Tremor is a slimmed-down alternative to the firm’s existing Quake and is available in widths from 3m to 6m.

As the Hardox leg brackets bolt to the main frame, there’s scope for owners to add or remove them as required; the pictured 3m rigid frame model, for instance, can be armed with five, six or seven.
These are available with 120mm- or 150mm-wide wings and there’s the option of shear-bolt or auto reset protection.
Ahead of each leg is a 450mm-diameter serrated cutting disc.
Their working depth, and the position of the rear packer – either a 650mm ring press or more conventional 750mm toothed roller – can be set hydraulically to save operators having to leave the seat.
Prices start at £15,000 for a 3m Tremor with shear-bolt protection; upgrading to auto reset adds £1,500.
As for power, 160hp should be adequate to pull the 3m, seven-leg version and it’ll be more like 300hp for the folding 6m model.
