Lamma 2025: Grange launches Front Mounted Disc Bar

The latest cultivator to be incorporated into Grange Machinery’s rapidly growing tillage range is the pithly titled Front Mounted Disc Bar.

As the name suggests, the new toolbar is designed for carriage on the tractor’s front linkage, with pairs of offset wavy discs – spaced 200mm apart – slicing through trash, cover crops or any clods left by a previous tillage pass.

These ride over ups and downs thanks to rubber sausage suspension on each mounting bracket. By carving through field residue, it should keep the rear-mounted drill free from bung-ups.

On-farm price of the folding 6m model pictured is about £11,800, including the central toolbox and lighting kit.

The firm also offers the Disc Bar in 3m and 4m widths and says it is open to building other iterations.
