Kuhn launches 2,360-litre seed-and-fert front tank
Kuhn is the latest implement maker to extend its range of front tanks as demand soars for toolbar-based drills that separate the hopper from the main coulter frame.
At 2,360 litres, the new TF 2300C offers far more capacity than the existing TF 1512, and a 60/40 split in the pressurised tank allows owners to carry separate supplies of seed and fertiliser.

These are metered individually by Kuhn’s Optiseed system, with interchangeable cassettes allowing distribution rates of up to 500kg/ha at 15kph.
The two products can be mixed into the same delivery tube or kept separate, depending on the drill setup and crop type.
There is also the option of a front packer, with four 82cm-diameter tyres helping to reduce the weight carried on the front linkage while consolidating ground ahead of the coulters.
Control is via any isobus-compatible terminal, through which operators can run automatic, GPS-based on/off switching and variable-rate applications using prescription maps.
List prices start at £24,625, with order books due to open in spring ready for summer delivery.
