Cultivation and drilling kit set to roll at Normac demo day

The Norfolk Farm Machinery Club’s biennial machinery demonstration event is set to take place on 16 September, giving farmers the chance to see new kit in the flesh following months of major show cancellations.

Gates open at 8am and the 80ha site is located just outside Downham Market, Norfolk, on ground owned by Albanwise Farming.

This year it has been sown with a green cover crop, which should provide a good workout for the cultivators and drills on show.

As usual, soil health and compaction will be hot topics, with a soil pit and tyre pressure demonstrations expected to promote plenty of conversation.

It’s likely to be the only major farm show to take place in East Anglia this year, so the organisers are preparing for a record number of exhibitors and visitors.
