Changes for NAAC conference

Next Thursday’s National Association of Agricultural Contractors (NAAC) annual conference on 8 December will see machinery exhibitors and demonstrations appear alongside the main conference for the first time.

Though it’s being held at a new venue – the East of England Showground, Peterborough – the event still offers a range of conference topics, starting at 9am with the keynote speech on food versus fuel, delivered by NFU chairman Peter Kendall. Later on, Farmers Weekly’s 2011 Contractor of the Year, Chris Awdry, discusses his business, while road rules and safety are also on the agenda.

The afternoon will allow visitors to take a good look at the kit on offer, with more than 35 manufacturers spread over two halls, including six tractor makers. If you would like to attend, contact the NAAC at www.naac.co.uk or 08456 448 750
