Cereals 2024: Claydon Evolution drill now available in toolbar form
Claydon has stripped the hopper from its Evolution drill to create a toolbar model that can be used with a front tank.
Evening out weight distribution between the front and rear of the tractor is one perk of this setup, but it also gives the flexibility of using it with other toolbar drills.

Added to that, the front hopper is available in a split format with two metering systems, allowing buyers to access greater levels of funding through Farming Equipment Technology Fund grants.
Other features of the front hopper include a pressurised metering system with tightly sealed screw-on lids to prevent leaks, and sufficient capacity to carry 1t of wheat and 1t of fertiliser in each side.
It can also be specced with press wheels, allowing the weight to be taken off the front of the tractor during work.
The drill itself is near identical to the regular Evolution with the hopper removed and is available in a range of sizes from 3m to 6m.
Pictured is the latter example which costs £50,000, with the front hopper coming in at £33,500.
