Case IH has announced that from the 2023 model year, a new 12in touchscreen display will feature in its Maxxum and Puma tractors.

The updated tech is only available in the Multicontroller and CVXDrive versions of the machines, and, for the Puma, in the 150-175 models.

Named the AFS Pro 700 Plus, the touchscreen can be mounted to the armrest or baler bar, and displays all of the machine’s vital information, such as the hydraulic settings, pto and transmission monitoring.

It can also be programmed to store difficult headland manoeuvres by using time, route and trigger points.

And the sequence and turning can be started automatically using the firm’s AccuTurn system.

Farmers running machines with the existing AFS Pro 700 display needn’t worry about fleet compatibility either.

The new system uses the AccuSync function to synchronise and share information with other vehicles, exchanging maps, waylines and boundaries with up to six tractors at a time.

For navigating tricky spots, the screen can also display a live feed from up to four external cameras.
