Tyre maker Bridgestone has revealed its VX-tractor tyre, which is aimed at machines with heavy payloads and in need of extra grip on the road and in the field.

Designed and tested at Bridgestone’s European Technical Centre in Italy, the VX is made from robust casings with extra-deep,extra-long lugs, which are claimed to offer better traction and a longer life.

Developed for tractors of 100hp and above, the new rubber will be available in 38in and 42in rear sizes as well as 24in to 34in front rounds.

As yet, there’s no word on price or UK availability as the tyre’s design and testing are still in progress.
