The changes include a new front-end design, a brush guard and new tyres enabling the 2200D to tackle a wider range of terrains.

The vehicle has an aluminium frame, chassis and cargo box floor. The load capacity of the cargo deck is 499kg.

Powered by a Kubota 20hp diesel engine the 2200D is capable of road speeds up to 40kph, stopping power comes in the form of four hydraulic drum breaks.
