The Berthoud Vantage is a premium specification trailed sprayer. This trailed sprayer has an original design that stands out from the other trailed models by its dark colour and style, and is inspired by the Berthoud tradition.
The low centre of gravity and tank design keeps the compact proportions that mean good handling and stability both on the road and in the field, all of this while naturally limiting residual volumes.
The Vantage has all the fundamentals of the brand:
Actiflex II axle suspension, dualmatic operation and its motorized version Dualelec, as well as the Berthoud boom range.
The Vantage range of trailed sprayers consists of five models of 2800, 3500, 4300 and 5500 and 6700 litres that can be fitted with 3 boom types ranging from 24 to 44 m (Axiale II, Axiale B3, Ektar B3).
It provides an answer to customers looking for a “made-to-measure” spraying solution adapted to their farm and their crops.
In addition, it provides access to Isobus technology either with the Berthoud VT Tronic touchscreen or directly on the virtual screen of the tractor.
The Vantage is the sprayer for farmers who want to combine application precision, high working speed and comfort, the concept reveals the Berthoud brand in the high-end trailed sprayers segment.
The optional Spraytronic system from Berthoud, PWM frequency spraying, is thanks to solenoid valves placed on each nozzle body.
Spraytronic can vary the flow of a nozzle by 70%, identically to the working speed, without changing the operating pressure.
Not only does this reduce running costs; a single nozzle can be used to cover a wider range of requirements without having to be changed, meaning no pressure jumps and therefore, optimal quality spraying.
The optional Sniper Technologies system from Berthoud uses spot-spraying technology to develop new features to improve agronomic performance of weed control and return on investment.
