Bailey fuel bowser has a lockable rear cabinet
With bigger kit working longer hours, the fuel bowser is becoming an increasingly important piece of back-up equipment for larger farming operations.
Manufacturers are making their machines more thief-proof, too. Lincolnshire maker Bailey Trailers says it now offers a rear cabinet option on its 2,000-litre fuel bowsers. This is said to be ideal for 18-litre Adblue containers and is lockable for security.
The bowser is fitted with a removable bunded tank with guides for fork lifting. A 12v, 85 litre/min pump is positioned for easy access and protected by a locking hatch cover. A 6m hose and auto gun make the operation simple and a flow meter is offered as an optional extra.
Twin axles are fitted for good weight distribution and high-speed running gear, mudguards, brakes, LED lights and screw jack/jockey wheel are all standard.
Prices start at £5,600. The cabinet-equipped version is £6,100 and the flow meter costs £300.
