American manufacturer Polaris has added a six-wheeled Big Boss model to its range of ATVs.

The big-bodied Sportsman 6×6 570 EPS gets a longer chassis and more storage capacity than previous versions, and is also able to accommodate a passenger.

It is propelled by a 44hp liquid-cooled motor and has a 750kg towing capacity.

The gas-assisted dump box at the rear of the vehicle can carry another 340kg and has six tie-down points fitted on the bed to secure heavy loads.

Engine braking with descent control and electric power steering also come as standard on the new model, as does all-wheel independent suspension and almost 30cm ground clearance.
