Lamma 2025: Kawasaki returns to smaller ATV market with 450

After years of having just one hulking 750cc ATV in its line-up, Kawasaki has re-entered the popular mid-sized sector.

Its new contender is the Brute Force 450, which has a 443cc/32hp single cylinder engine and CVT transmission slotted into its compact chassis.

Engineers have opted for a relatively wide wheel track to improve stability, as well as making it strong enough to support 34kg of cargo on the front rack, 68kg at the rear and tow trailers weighing up to 476kg.

Off-road credentials include electronic engagement of two- and four-wheel drive, a diff lock and independent suspension all round.

Plus, it comes with hydraulic disc brakes, LED headlights and an additional lamp mounted on the handlebars.

It is priced at £5,328 and will be available for delivery this spring.
