Kioti’s pricey 25hp K9 UTVs get better engine braking
South Korean maker Kioti has tweaked its trio of three-seat K9 UTVs, with the new 2410s gaining an upgraded 50kph stepless transmission and more features as standard.
These include speed proportional electric power steering and an engine brake, which should improve handling and, in the case of the latter, safety when heading downhill.

Power is still provided by a 1,007cc diesel tuned to 25hp, running through a two-range CVT with selectable four-wheel drive.
Operator comfort is the primary difference between the three models. The pricey option, which lists a little above £30,000, comes with a factory-fitted cab, climate control and complete weather protection.
However, sacrificing air-con by opting for the more basic retrofit Field Cabin cab, still with glass doors and a heater, knocks about £6,000 off the bill.
The austere version comes in at £20,800, for which buyers get a ROPS frame, simple doors, a glass windscreen and a canopy.
All three also have a rubber floor mat, seat headrests and an electrically assisted tipping mechanism for the 500kg-capacity load bed.
Standard K9s come dressed in red, but this can be switched to green for those keen on a bit more subtlety. Order books open early next year.
