Kawasaki reveals clever two- and four-seater Mule ATVs
Kawasaki’s latest Mule has taken a while getting here, but made its first UK appearance at the Midlands Machinery Show (25-25 November).
The Mule Pro DX EPS and Pro-DXT EPS are the two-and four-passenger variants.
Power on both comes from a new 993cc three-cylinder diesel engine, allied to a CVT transmission and dual-mode diff.

Top speed is 50kph and the tank holds 30 litres of diesel. Disc brakes are fitted front and rear and a speed-sensitive steering system adjusts the amount of steering assistance according to vehicle speed.
The most striking thing is the clever way in which the second set of seats on the DXT can be either hidden away under the rear load area or pushed upwards to give four-seat capability.
Cargo bed dimensions are 1.08m long, 1.36m wide and 0.28m high when you want the maximum carrying space. Max loading is 453kg.
If, on the other hand, you need room for four people, you slide a divider backwards and the seats flip up. That reduces payload area to 0.56m long by 1.36m wide and 0.28m high. Max loading is 158kg.
It’s on sale in February 2016. Price is £11,129 for the two-passenger machine and £12,329 for the four-seater.
