Can-Am 6×6 Traxter hits the market
Farmers and estate managers expecting to face treacherously boggy conditions this winter might like the look of Can-Am’s latest Traxter DPS HD10.
The six-wheel-drive UTV has the same 82hp V-twin Rotax engine and two-range CVT as the original Traxter, but differs in its triple-axle configuration that offers comparatively boat-like flotation.
This also provides more space, though that doesn’t necessarily translate into extra carrying capacity.

The six-wheeler’s vital stats are broadly similar to the 4x4s, with the cargo box rated to the same 454kg, towing capacity marginally higher (1,360kg) and the maximum payload set at 771kg.
Thanks to its 40-litre fuel tank, it should be able to run all day without the need to return home to refuel, says Can-Am.
The cab has been slightly rejigged to give operators more comfort and space, too.
The pillars have been pushed forwards and the bench seats, which usually accommodate three people, can be flipped up to create more room for transporting goods.
Prices for the new model start at £24,099.
