Agritechnica 09: Lemken adopts clever QuickHitch system

Lemken now offers a new attachment feature designed to make hitching on a lot quicker and safer.

The QuickConnect system will first be fitted to the company’s new Sirius-mounted sprayer, and instead of using the usual coupling triangle features an extended toplink attachment meaning the reversing tractor can stop up to 40cm from the implement before the driver click on the toplink.

The driver can then move between the two machines with ease and make the other attachments. After getting back in the cab there’s no need to get out to hitch up, as the toplink attachment folds and locks on reversing further and lower arm links automatically snap on to the implement attachment points.

The system also means that the mounted implement is much nearer the tractor for a more compact unit giving easier handling.
