Iveco launches king-size Daily 4×4 Tigrotto pickup
A king-size pickup with all the kit needed for off-road exploits is just one of any number of configurations possible with the new Daily 4×4 Tigrotto special edition from truck maker Iveco.
Introduced last year only in left-hand-drive form, the Tigrotto (tiger cub) is now available as a right-hand-drive chassis-cab ready to receive the bodywork of your choice.

Iveco produces a 4×4 version of the Daily large volume van, but the Tigrotto harks back to a late 1950s truck, hence the two-tone body colour, red painted sump guard, towing shackles, axles, cab steps, hubs and rims, and the round work lamps.
Underneath, the vehicle is anything but ancient – an eight-speed auto transmission with low ratios for off-roading transfers the three-litre diesel’s 180hp to a four-wheel-drive setup, with three locking differentials and an electronic anti-wheelslip system.
Increased ride height and chunky tyres complete the off-road credentials of a truck with up to 4.1t payload and bodies stretching to 4.45m – plenty long enough to hold a few bales of hay for the sheep on the hill.
