Today’s Royal Show sheep results

Taking top honours in the Bluefaced Leicester classes here today was J M McLeod with a ram lamb by a 17,000gns sire. Reserve was Lisa Norris with a ewe lamb.

In the Beltex top honours went to Veron Roots with a ewe, while reserve was David Thornley with a shearling ram.

In the Hampshire Downs the champion was Robert Vincent with a shearling ram, while Jim Cresswell was reserve with a shearling ewe which took the same honours at last month’s Royal Highland.

And, in the Southdowns the champion was Stephen and Paul Humphries shearling ram with Messrs Wakeham-Dawson and Harmer’s shearling ewe reserve.
