The Royal Welsh Show 2011: recorded native bull

An Aberdeen Angus from the Shadwell Estate Company, Nunnery Stud, Thetford, won the recorded native bull championship. Homebred, Shadwell Black Boughton is by Muirhall Total Deal and out of Shadwell Blackbird.

Judge Trebor Edwards said his champion was “a very nice, quiet bull with good overall conformation which showed well on the day.”

In second was a South Devon from W H D Scott, Wells Folly, Moreton-in-Marsh. Grove Solomon 44 is an April 2010-born Grove bellerophon 3 daughter, out of Grove Sorrel 40.
