Skipton Masham wethers top £30 a head

Yorkshire Dales hill sheep farmer Ken Lister presented a 40-strong pen of Masham wether lambs to win the show class at Skipton Auction Mart’s sale of over 4,000 store lambs, on Thursday.

Ken, of Kiln Hall, Kettlewell, received the Craven Cattle Marts Trophy from the mart’s Heather Stoney, then saw his charges sell for the top price of £30.20 a head to Paul Watson, of Hellifield.
