Sedgemoor sees strong entry of dairy cows and heifers
Greenslade Taylor Hunt have reported another very large entry of 120 dairy cows and heifers at Sedgemoor Market at the weekend.
Others sold to ÂŁ1,950 for Messrs HM Heywood & Sons, ÂŁ1,940 twice for Mr B Rose & Son and John & Heather Snook. ÂŁ1,920 for Messrs J R and J

In calf heifer sold to ÂŁ1170 for Mr S H Ham. In calf cows to ÂŁ1,100 (2nd) Mr MG Walters, Bruton. Bulling heifers to ÂŁ880 twice to average ÂŁ838 and calves to ÂŁ280 twice.
There was a smaller mixed quality entry of 124 suckler cows, but the sale saw another very bright trade, especially for the better quality units.
