Salmonella vaccine now available in larger vials

AviPro Salmonella vac E, the live oral vaccine against Salmonella enteritidis, is now available in larger size vials of 5000 doses.

Made by Lohmann Animal Health, the vaccine is added to the drinking water of layers and broiler-breeders. While this is already a convenient way of delivering the salmonella vaccine, the company believes the new size will make it quicker and easier, particularly on large-scale poultry units in addition to saving storage space.

The larger vials are supplied in packs of 10.
