Moy Park registers strong financials for 2015
Moy Park grew its volume output some 6.7% in 2015, its full-year results reveal.
The Northern Ireland-based integrator said it had delivered a “strong performance” against a backdrop of a competitive market, foreign exchange headwinds, commodity price deflation and export restrictions.
The results, which cover the year to 2 January 2016, report sales up 1.4% to £1,442m.

Moy Park’s release highlights a £27.5m investment in its Dungannon, Craigavon and Ashbourne plants, and says that 2015 saw the firm processing more than five million birds a week. It also notes that its sale to Brazillian agri-business JBS concluded in September.

“As part of our £170m strategic investment programme, the company invested £28m in our industry-leading operations, securing Moy Park’s position as one of the UK’s most advanced food manufacturing companies.
“A further £30m was invested in our agricultural base through our farming partners.”
