Luggford Holsteins sell to 1850gns top twice

Both top priced lots at the dispersal sale of the Luggford herd of Holstein Friesians
for C Perkins & Son at Moreton-on-Lugg, Hereford, sold for 850gns.

Purchasing the first at this money was J M Lowe of Withington, Hereford, for
Luggford Belinda 45, a heifer sired by Keystone Potter out of a 8,190kgs 4.38%F
3.42%P Weaverline Bench Eddie daughter. She had been calved 5 weeks and was
giving 31kgs daily.

The other joint top priced animal was Luggford Glee 37, a Hidden View Best heifer
from a Towerview Acres Talisman that had peaked at 8,907kgs. She was giving
29kgs daily after calving 4 weeks earlier. Buying her was C J & J I Bevan of
Harewood End, Hereford.

Top priced cow was Luggford Mollie 36, a 2nd calver by Keystone Potter out of a
9,211kgs Keystone Cleitus Valvano daughter. She sold for 1,700gns to J M Lowe.

Served heifers sold to 1,180gns and yearling heifers to 680gns.
The 7 year old Limousin stock bull sold for 1,800gns to J E & S I Morgan,
Llandrindod Wells, Powys.
