Taking top call of 3500gns in the Herefords at Carlisle was A R Owen’s bull Church Preen Gaskell. This Hermitage Commando son is out of Church Preen Model, a Hermitage Bruno daughter. He sold to D J Ord, Chatton, Alnwick.Then making 2700gns was Panmure 1 Geoffrey from J W and B Procter. This Solpoll 1 Briagadier son is out of Panmure 1 Blessing, a FS 1 Versache daughter. Bred by J M Cant and Partners he sold with a TSI of +15 and an SRI of +17 and went to Messrs Riley, Meerbrook, Leek.

Selling at 2600gns was Panmure 1 Garfield from Messrs Can themselves. This Romany 1 Distiller son is out of Panmure 1 Blessing, a FS 1 Versache daughter. He has a TSI of +25 and an SRI of +32 and sold to C H Brown and Sons, Albrighton.
