Little Chef teams up with The Happy Egg Company

The Little Chef chain has linked up with ethical producer The Happy Egg Company for its supply of free-range eggs, which are now being used across its restaurants’ entire menu.

The Happy Egg Company, known for its high standards of hen welfare has only previously been available in the retail sector.

The initiative between Little Chef and The Happy Egg Company is supported by a wide range of activities. The bespoke Easter games include a scratch card competition, with 2m prizes being given away and also a unique £3000 golden egg.

Rob Newell, head of marketing at The Happy Egg Company said: “We are delighted to have teamed up with Little Chef, arguably one of Britain’s most iconic brands, to enable diners to enjoy great tasting eggs laid by the happiest hens. It is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate that Happy Eggs are not just the best choice for the hens, but also the breakfast plate.”

A Little Chef voucher offering a free starter or dessert with every main meal sold in its restaurants, will be included inside boxes of Happy Eggs, in all big retailers.
