Charolais claims junior bull championship

Lifting the junior interbreed bull championship this morning was Gareth Jones with his Thrunton Virginian-sired Charolais Esgob Campbell.

A Burradon Talisman grandson, Campbell is one of the first crop of bulls of Virginian from the 30-cows herd Mr Jones runs. He is likely to head to Perth this autumn for the bull sales, so a certain well known Charolais and Simmental breeder who moonlights in bread delivery may take a keen interest.
