Black Newhouse bull takes Perth Limousin title
Taking this morning’s Limousin championship here at Perth was black bull Newhouse Black Colorado from the Adam family.
This one is by Greenhaugh Utwo and out of Newhouse Teak and carries a beef value of +38. A well fleshed bull he look’s set to cause a stir tomorrow.
Standing reserve was Culnagechan Condor from D Hume. This one is by Graham’s Unbeatable and out of Carmorn Tara and has a beef value of +33. Both these bulls came from the junior classes.
Taking the senior championship was David Work’s bull Dumbreck Champion an April 2007-born son of Greenbank Star out of Dumbreck Roxette,
Reserve to champion was Keirsbeath Cougar from D Orr. This one is by Dyfri Target and out of Rhynd Smurf.
In the intermediate lines it was Archie and John MacGregor who took top honours with Ardback Taketime son Allanfauld Cheetah. He carries a beef value of +27.
Reserve to Cheetah was Goldies Crackerjack from Bruce Goldie. This one, which caught my eye earlier, is by Goldies Terrence and out of Java, his beef value is an impressive +41.
