Alltech appoint new vice-president Europe

Animal Health and nutrition company Alltech have promoted Patrick Charlton to the position of vice-president Europe.

Mr Charlton is taking over from Marc Larousse, who has been appointed to the position of vice-president business development.

“Alltech is experiencing tremendous progress in Europe. This region has been a vital part of Alltech’s core strategy for many years and now it’s time for us to expand,” said Alltech president Dr. Pearse Lyons.

“With Patrick’s considerable experience and leadership we are anticipating strong growth and development throughout the Europe region,” Dr Lyons added.

Mr Charlton has been with Alltech for 21 years, during which he has worked extensively in Africa, Canada and the Middle East, most recently serving as European regional director.

“We have a fantastic team in place with a firm devotion to the future of European agriculture, with an unparalleled knowledge and experience in the agricultural industry. Together we will further the development of new technologies, while continuing to meet the needs of local customers,” Mr Charlton said.
