Farm for sale on Isle of Wight of Farm near Yachting Capital Cowes
George Syrett of Salisbury-based property firm Savills has crossed the Solent to sell a scenic 208-acre residential farm on the Isle of Wight.
Mr Syrett reckoned Great Briddlesford Farm, five miles from Cowes, would appeal to a London buyer.
“I think it will be used as an island retreat, it’s not really a commercial farm and there’s such a short supply of properties on the mainland.
“Its close proximity to Cowes, the yachting capital of the world, makes travel to the mainland convenient and timely.”
The farm, which is available in four lots, is priced at £2.3m and includes a seven-bed house and a traditional tythe barn and granary with holiday accommodation potential subject to planning.
