View the shortlisted pictures for the 2008 Farmers Weekly Photography Competition

We’ve received thousands of entries for the 2008 Photography Competition – either emailed to us digitally, posted as prints or uploaded directly to FWi.

Our panel of judges have looked at every one and the 36 winning and commended entries will appear in Farmers Weekly next Friday (19 December).

In the meantime, you can see the shortlist of pictures from which these 36 will be chosen in this gallery. About 80 pictures made our shortlist chosen because of their subject matter, composition and the technical ability shown by the photographer.
