Leaf launches school competition to win farm visit
A competition has opened inviting schools across the country to apply for the chance to win a farm experience for their classes to learn about the farm-to-fork journey and the importance of British farming.
Hosted by the education division of the Linking Environment and Farming (Leaf) organisation, the All for Farm and Food for All competition is open to primary school classes in years five and six, and aims to give a vital insight into where food comes from and how it is produced.

Schools entering the competition will be given access to tailored resources to help deliver learning activities and experiences relating to why farming matters.
Eight regional finalists will be selected from the pool of entries and awarded a trip for one of their classes to have a fully funded experiential farm visit, plus an in-school workshop provided by Leaf.
An overall winner will then be selected from the finalists and awarded a farm visit for up to 200 children from their school, with the chance to learn about farming and the environment.
To enter the competition, teachers should register their classes on the Leaf Education website.
