In photos: Farmers protest tax plans in mass rally

Thousands of farmers from across the country have massed in Westminster for a rally to protest against the inheritance tax plans announced in the Budget.

Under a sky thick with grey clouds, in heavy November rain and chilly temperatures, farming families turned out in force to send a united message to Westminster – reverse the 20% tax plans on assets above a million pounds.
