Britain’s Fittest Farmer 2023: The finalists revealed
After tough competition at three regional qualifiers, the finalists for this year’s Britain’s Fittest Farmer competition have been chosen.
The last round of qualifiers for the Farmers Weekly Britain’s Fittest Farmer competition was held at the Royal Highland Show on 25 June.
The third heat followed on from events at the Devon and Lincolnshire county shows, where farmers and those working in the wider agricultural industry went head-to-head in a test of mental and physical fitness prowess.

With more than 75 competitors at this year’s qualifiers, the standard has been higher than ever.
Entrants were put through their paces by judge and fitness guru Tom Kemp and his Farm Fitness team in a series of timed physical challenges designed to test strength, stamina and endurance.
Britain’s Fittest Farmer champions the mental and physical wellbeing of the nation’s farmers.
The event brings together the farming community to help break down barriers and start conversations about promoting mental health through physical activity.
The following entrants will now take part in mental health interviews with FCN and Famers Weekly before they take on the last physical fitness rounds at the grand final in September.
