FW Photo Competition 2022: 8 great shots so far

Entries are flooding in for the Farmers Weekly Photography Competition 2022, which is offering readers the chance to share in £500 of prizes.

We’ll also be printing the winners and a selection of others in Farmers Weekly’s bumper Christmas issue.

The closing date isn’t until 15 November, so you’ve still got plenty of time to snap some new shots or dig out some of your old favourites.

To provide some inspiration, here are just a few of the many lovely photos that have caught our eye so far.

How to enter

You can enter as many pictures in as many categories as you like, but please not the competition is not open to professional photographers.

The categories are:

  • Black and white
  • Livestock
  • Landscapes
  • Machinery
  • People
  • Pets
  • Wildlife
  • Young photographer (open to anyone 16 or under on the closing date).

It’s quick and easy to enter, you just need to upload your best pictures to one or more of the relevant online entry galleries.

The higher the resolution the better (ideally we need a minimum file size of 2MB or bigger) and we like to read a little description with your snaps, too – so don’t forget to tell us when and where your photo was taken, and what it shows.

The closing date is Tuesday, 15 November 2022. We can’t wait to see what you come up with. Good luck!
