Photo of the Week: Tractor runs light up December

We’re kicking off our Christmas on the farm 2024 gallery this year with this festive photo from Eliza, who captured the magic of the Ise of Man Young Farmers’ tractor run in the Isle of Man.

Eliza, who farms sheep and beef cattle on with her family, told Farmers Weekly: ”There is always a fantastic atmosphere with the Isle of Man Young Farmers’ tractor run, from the fantastic organisers planning a year ahead, to the drivers/helpers decorating them for weeks before, a lot of effort goes in and it is lovely to see so many people out supporting it in all weathers.

“It really starts off Christmas over here!”

The tractor run started on the Isle of Man in 2017 and so far it has raised nearly £75,000 for local charities.
