Photo of the Week: Today’s news is tomorrow’s apples wrapper

October marks the time to harvest cooking apples, and Louisa and Tom at The Plough in Suckley, Worcestershire, have found a novel way to present them.

Wrapped in the glossy pages of Farmers Weekly for storage, the cooking apples filled vintage apple trays rescued from a relative’s granary after being power-washed and treated for woodworm.
