Photo of the Week: Sheep steal hearts this Valentine’s

We’re featuring a love-themed picture this week, sent in to our Farmlife Framed gallery by Penny Follett.

Ahead of Valentine’s Day this week, Penny was challenged by a friend to get the sheep on-farm to form a giant heart formation.

The photo was taken at Easton Farm in Berwick St. John, Wiltshire where, behind the ewes in the photo, is the famous Winklebury Hill.

Penny juggles farming with book-keeping, while her husband is a full-time builder – but sheep-dog Finn has made their busy life easier.

The couple manage sheep, cows and have grown a small amount of spring barley. They are currently gearing themselves up for lambing time in just a few weeks.
