Photo of the Week: Picture perfect Mules in snow
Amy Medd sent this photo of a gorgeous snowy scene to our Farmlife Framed gallery.
She’s captured two of Ouldray Farm’s Mules, from their flock of breeding ewes – a mix of Mules and Suffolk crosses (out of Cheviot ewes).
The farm, which also has Blue Texel tups, will start lambing in early April.

Hopefully the weather will be better for lambing by then – the snow settled for a few days, but Amy says it’s now wet and windy on the farm in Helmsley in North Yorkshire.
Amy lives on the tenanted farm with husband Daniel, a fourth-generation farmer, and their two young daughters.
You can upload your farm photos to our Farmlife Framed gallery and our Lambing 2025 gallery.
